"and there's nothing wrong but there is something more..."

whew! a lot of things are starting to be finalized. state auditions are over. forever. and four of the five who auditioned from marcus made it! my friend HaNi made 1st chair alto 1, David made 1st chair bass 2, alex made 9th chair soprano 1, and i got 7th chair alto 2!!! (top ten make state) it was such an incredible experience. so we get to spend four days in San Antonio, rehearsing and all kinds of stuff, and then the last day we have this big awesome concert at the TMEA convention. it's gonna be flippin sweet. really a wonderful opportunity!!!! dude. i'm excited.
yesterday i sent in my app for my music audition at sam houston. so i'm awaiting a response from them as to the exact time of my audition, which is in march, and in the meantime i'm working on my audition music so i don't totally suck when i get there. :)
today was cool. i had an interview for pine cove. not sure if it really went all that well...in fact i'm pretty sure it didn't go that well. i was really nervous. scared out of my mind to be exact, and still stressed from the drive over there in the rain on the highway in the middle of lots of traffic. drivers aren't nice when it's raining. but in any case i'll find out in...march...ish. oh! and i saw myself on the promotional video, like katherine mentioned. and you know what??? it IS kind of like being famous.
