we had UIL for choir today, and despite the fact that i was still sick i thought we did quite well. well, according to the judges, we did well enough to earn sweepstakes!!! i'm so excited. what is funny is that some people in our choir didn't care because they were used to getting sweepstakes, while others didn't even know what sweepstakes was and were therefore confused. one particular girl was very ecstatic once she realized it means we got the highest rating from every judge. of course, we have a skilled director, so it wasn't terribly surprising that he had prepared us well. and tomorrow i get to go to listen to our varsity choir sing, and i'm sure they will do great also. cause, of course, they're better than us (hence the name VARSITY choir). anyway, i'm very thrilled about all of that!!!
as i expected, my fave song has already changed since yesterday. and i'm sure there'll be a new one tomorrow aussi.
