okay.

youth does not equal beauty. you don't stop being beautiful when you hit 50.

thinness is not an equivalent to beauty. you don't suddenly become hideous when you gain five pounds.

you do not have to add make-up, brand-name clothes, or anything else advertised in a magazine in order to be beautiful.

i hate that the world tells us the exact opposite of that. i mean, i really, truly hate it. honestly, who...WHO on earth has the right to say that one person is beautiful and another is not? we're judging with the wrong scale anyhow.

the Lord, the Creator of the earth for cryin out loud, created all of us. He loves us, and each of us is a "masterpiece." imagine this incredibly renowned artist, who paints with more passion than you could imagine, and genuinely loves his work. he looks upon each of his paintings as a gorgeous masterpiece. he displays them for all the world to see. but one particular painting decides, no matter what the artist thinks...it's not beautiful. i mean, look at all the other paintings...they've got to be way better, right? there's no way this painting could ever be special, or loved...

to that painter, that is a slap in the face.

just take a minute to consider the fact that you were created with more care and love than you could possibly comprehend. that being beautiful is not about what everyone else thinks of you, but rather that you are a splendid work of art adored by the Artist.

just consider it.
