"the bagpipe man is dancing!"
all state=love of my LIFE.
it was seriously one of the most memorable experiences in just about...oh...EVER...and i completely and absolutely and totally LOVED it. i don't think i could have loved it more. you never really know what to expect going into these things....WHAT AN UNDERSTATEMENT!! i learned so much from our clinician there...who by the way is this incredible, amazing woman named Elaine Quilichini. if you ever meet her--ask her to be your best friend. she'll probably say yes. and you'll be glad you did, cause she's AWESOME. she likes stickers...she'll probly give you one. she's this little canadian woman who knows so much about music and is just so passionate and wonderful at what she does and--aw man. and on top of all that, it was like between her love for the music and ours...we all just bonded together to make this incredible music. and she had this wonderful goal of wanting to make sure each individual left having gained something from the experience. i know i did. being back in choir now is just...different. an hour and a half seems like nothing, for one. and it's like i have higher standards, and my mind is going crazy with all these new ideas for things we can work on to grow as a choir. i think it's going to be fantastic. really, i do.
dude. i'm wiggin out here.
